12500 for both or for 1? Mighty high price for 1. Sure can buy a nice used rzr xp for a thousand bucks more. And stock pilots barely fetch 4000 anymore and I know of 3 lt pilots that sold for under 5500 bucks not too long ago. Nice car but In my opinion its over priced for the market these days buddy.

Thanks For Taking The Tme Out Of Your day To Express Your Unsolicited Opinion About My Asking Price. Your Question About If It Is For One Or Two Doesn't Deserve A response, And If I Were Selling A "Stock" car Then I Would Be Asking For The Assosiated Stock Price.... I Am Selling A "Race" Car, So If You Need Any More Clarification On The Listed Race car Please Ask, OTherwise This Ad Is Directed Toward The Racers On This Site, Not The Novice Weekend Trailrider....

What classifies this an an "race car"?

Give us an list of what's been done to it ?
And what parts also come with it

The best way to sell something is to list all the stuff that has been done to it and every thing else that comes with it

Me being a racer as well as a fabricator and hoarder of pilots makes me more then a weekend novicer. That being said I was trying to help you understand that its going to be hard for you to get close to your asking price due to the fact you can buy 3 pilots for what your asking. Panels added to a long travel pilot doesnt make it more of a race car.

Congratulations on the sale, do they do any racing in Argentina or was it bought just to ride/toy?

Is this the car your selling?I think you would get a better response if you listed all the upgrades and extra parts your selling with it to warrant your asking price. It looks really good in the race videos

So it sold 20hrs after listing it and without answering anyone's questions here? Ooooooookay.

Once again...I'm gonna take whatever I own and put a number plate on it, call it a RACE CAR, and charge 3x the normal price for it. Wish me luck. LOL!

And people wonder why they come this site, do something stupid like this, and then get bashed?? It's comical!!!

Reminds me...racing with the mouth and not the buggy...
That one guy that got booted out of PO.com who was having his "race" Pilot put together, getting a body shell on for his "sponsors", etc....name was "KTM123" or something...that guy ever end up racing it????

Sounds like someone needs a nappy-poo.

So youre not a "novice weekend trail rider?" Then what are you? A fully sponsored professional race car driver? Well then I have to ask, why do you own a PILOT? No matter how much you modify it, it is still a PILOT. I have seen pilots with more work done, that sold for less, and guess what, IT WAS STILL A PILOT, not a race car. Directing your ad to the "racers on this site" means you are pretty much talking to nobody on this site (unless you just posted this to talk to yourself, big badass mister professional race car driver). :-)

Nice pilot tho, or should I say, you sure HAD a nice pilot since you already sold it...maybe. Grow up kid.

I doubt wolfskill will be back to answer your questions. I hope he did get 12.5k for his pilot. I think you jealous types are the ones who need to grow up!

I will say this, if I had everything done and built by atv racing and paid the prices they want for there stuff and work I would not be listing for some cheap price but what gets me is the fact they use the absolute cheapest junk they can get there hands on and charge 5 times what it cost. After building 2 long travel pilots of my own design with the absolute best parts I am so un impressed with anything associated with long?travel from them front or rear but consider the fact he would have nearly 7 thousand dollars alone in suspension with steering another 3 or more in Engine work(nuts if you ask me but that is what atv gets)all from atv before the price of a pilot plus fuel cell, the seat etc how could you think of selling for 5-6? but the truth is it would have hymes on it I would not hold a stationary wagon up with, same junk on the steering, limited travel in the rear but if you paid that ridicules amount for all that crap? none would want to let it go cheap talk about milking a cow

That is the way it is with almost everything you sell after investing money in to. You build a classic hotrod, costs you tons of money to build, and you are lucky to get half of your investment back if you sell.

Going fast always costs money. But paying someone else (i.e. ATVR) to make it go fast for you costs A LOT MORE!! Simple.

I think the prices on the buggies is slowly changing from "complete buggy" to the "sum of its parts", too, especially when its got a ton of goodies that are getting harder and harder to find. But price is really all about the seller0's motivation and desperation to sell, and the size of the buyers' bankroll.

Wish there would've been more pics of the $12.5k buggy. I want to see it all just to see it. :-)

There is also the fact that riders have bought LT pilots with all the goodies and then spent more money to correct and make the improvements work. In my opinion ATVR are out to lunch when it comes to shocks and spring rates amongst other things. Having the shocks rebuilt and dialing in the correct spring rates is not cheap and usually takes more than one go to get it just right. Everything done adds up

I did sell my car for the asking price , but it was listed on race Dezert and was sold from that site. We had a good run racing , but divorce and the economy took its toll. Had four cars and it was a challenge to keep it all going and very expensive. I had a full time mechanic and lots of help. Made a lot of good friends with the other racers. Attached is our race team picture. And yes my son did have sponsors and placed second in championship points in Lucas Oil regional. Yes they are race cars and I don't think I need to explain why they are race cars. We loved racing the Pilots and did not feel we were second class to any of the other race classes . I think we made a big impression with the pilots and will miss racing them. I knew what i could get for the car and and if that made you uncomfortable then maybe you need to ask more for your pilots, there are people willing to pay for pilots if you know were to look. Neil at ATV racing is very expensive but his work is not shady and you get what you pay for. I have four cars that went through him and would do it over if I had too. His long travel on three of the cars gave us no problems. We did race desert courses and had damage due to the rocks and track debris. I feel I didn't need to justify asking 12k for my pilot, if your not interested then just move on like most of the people that looked at the listing. Thank for stopping by.
