I'm cringing as I type this...I purchased my Odyssey about 3 years ago right after joining this site. It had a Briggs 16hp Vtwin Engine in it. I picked up a Polaris 400 liquid cooled Engine for it with great plans. A few months after that I was laid off from my job and...(insert sob story here lol) I have been hanging onto this hoping I could get it finished but I think the time has come to let someone enjoy it instead of it sitting in my cousins garage (he will also be very thankful lol).

About the Odyssey: The chassis is in good shape, a few dings here and there. It has Works shocks on the rear. The plastics are complete minus the graphics and there is a small crack in the foot tub. The seat isn't in the best shape. I have a seat from a Honda Del Sol that I was going to remove the rails and mount in there. I also have a new 4 point harness with a automobile style buckle that's super easy to use with gloves on. I never got the wrist restraints with it and it is also missing one of the mirrors. There is a raised Engine mount that you can see in the pics from the Briggs setup that can be removed to mount the sled Engine in the factory location. The Engine is from an Indy 400 twin with a pull start and rated from the factory at 63hp. It is complete and in running order. It includes the carbs, exhaust and I picked up a radiator from a Suzuki SV650 sport bike since the snowmobile used a heat exchanger setup in the floorboards. The only major purchase left is a fuel tank. The Engine is not mounted and the exhaust needs to be fabbed to fit in the frame.

I'm hoping to trade for a dirt bike. Preferably an early/mid 2000's KX, CR, YZ or RM250 2 stroke or a 450r motocrosser. It's been a while since I've been in the woods and I miss it! It's located within a few minutes of Scranton, Pa.
Thanks for looking, Jamie

Hello Jamie! I was just by your area last weekend, I could have stopped by to look at this ody! Can you post some pictures on the 440 Engine as it sits right now in the frame please? Is the mounting system for that specific Engine fabbed already or would the mounts need to be completed for installation?

Hey Mudbogger, it's never been mounted. I was waiting until I bought all the parts I needed to figure out where everything was going to go. The "custom" mount that is in there was for the Briggs Engine. It is basically a flat plate raised about 12" from the stock mounting location. It is bolted in so it can be removed if needed and I also have the big chunk of aluminum that the sled Engine was originally on in the snowmobile. I will take a ride up the garage a little later and get some more pics of everything. This is the only one I have at the moment.

Not me, she takes horrible pictures. The ones of me riding are from a mile away with no zoom!

That is the common terrain here in the coal valley. There is one of these playgrounds every mile or so off of the railroad tracks. There are some really nice hill climbs if you go a little further south into Pittston.

Willing to also trade for a nice 125 MX'r or even possibly an 85 (they're like a fast bmx bike in the woods lol)...I would really hate to part this out and I'm also trying to avoid the BS involved with craigslist. I will get flooded with emails from people trying to trade 2 Huffys, $10 and half a sandwich lol.
