Yeup that was my old Briggs. Bob was not real happy that I would jump that double double each lap and decided after he spun in the corner to give it a try. As you saw he needed just a little more speed. The EEE was fast and handled better than the revolts but still wasn't able to turn quite like my Briggs. The old Briggs is headed back east but not to Mudd I will let the new owner spill the beans as to who he is. He frequents this form it is where he saw the ad that mine was for sale. THANKS PILOTODYSSEY.COM. Ok enough of a highjack sorry Mudd. You got a great car you will be very happy with it.

Wow, thanks for the video! I hope he did not do any damage to my new ride on that flip!
I appreciate the well wishes with this ride, I need to get the Turbo Pilot to my standards and then this project will be center stage.

Had some time today to finally get some things done on this. I installed a new starter button in the ride, the old 1 fell apart in my hands when purchased. I also installed a new SCORPION gel battery, drained and filled the fluids in trans and Engine. I also ran into a bit of a issue-the rear caliper is seized up. Any idea on rebuild kits for it, there is no ebrake cable for it, the brake pa-portioning valve I did not touch at all, is this caliper made still, or do they make a replacement by chance? Is the shifter for some reason in any way affecting the rear caliper when put into a specific position? Thanks for the help here!

I was able to work on this caliper today and I freed it up no problem. It was as simple as pie. Here is a picture of the caliper

The caliper splits into 2 pieces with the mounting bolts acting as the actual holders.

The left side just holds the 1 pad, which is held in by a small screw located in the center, that's it.

right side holds the actual piston and same as left the pad with screw holding it in. The piston actually goes through the housing and has a small nub on the exterior which helps immensely in freeing it when stuck. In this picture you can see it in the middle of the housing:

After a spraying of PB Blaster and a small c-clamp it freed up easily, I drained the old fluid out of it, took both bleeder screws out and cleaned them and assembled it back together, I had a set of pads here in the parts bin but need to replace them. You can also see a part number in this picture that is the only number I could find on it:

Around the yard yes, otherwise no. it flys, and the steering is sweet. Only compliant is the car is small and being 6-4 I am hitting the roll bars with my knees and such, I have to relocate the water temp gauge and perhaps push the pedals up closer the front of the car to really be comfortable in it. The thing is much better then the drakart I had, leaps and bounds for me at least.
Installed fresh rear caliper and battery, it starts right up. I need to drain and refill with fresh fual and take it out in the future.

It looks like a really cool car. That crash video is amazing and it still looks straight. You for sure know it's proven to be solid. All the history on the car is a prize in itself. Very cool. Years of someone's trials and errors. Would it be difficult to do a pilot wheel mod? It's an idea for more legroom. Is it comfortable driving with pedals? I didn't ride the buggy much but I remember I braced myself with my legs a lot.

I like the pedals to be honest. I would prefer to keep it as stock as I can from when it was raced too.
