Scored a stock bore nos piston on eBay the other night... wasn't listed very long so I grabbed it up.... my second pilot is supposed to be on its stock bore, but haven't taken head off yet to verify, so I figured Id grab it. Got it for $90. How hard are the Honda pistons to get? I'm assuming very hard as I had to buy wiseco for my last two rebuilds! Also got nos Honda rear brake pads with the pins for $23! Was a good night on eBay!

pistons come up often. Its the rings that never come up. Those are what you will be waiting to pop up. And wiesco rings wont work because the honda rings are shaped different

Poleclimber I just bought out Dennis Kirks remaining 80.5mm Wiseco pistons
kits, I word of advise start looking for some now so when it is time you will have 1, it took me several weeks to locate these I purchased, the 80.5 mm is a hard to get piston kit.
I also got a NOS OEM Honda rear brake pad set off Ebay the other night as well too! I wonder if the same seller sold to us both? I had to buy it, even if I never use them the NOS kit is just cool in my book.

Did you pay that guy $60.00 for that rear brake set? it does have the discontinued spring with it. Honda still sell read pads and the pin right?

to my knowledge the OEM brake pad and pin are no longer available you have to buy aftermarket brake pads.
the Pens are discontinued but I believe you can locate them these days elsewhere.

I was asking because I made the guy a couple offers but he wouldn't take them. I have a couple of the old sets that include the spring and I think I have one nos loose spring. I think you can still buy rear pad set from Honda. The new rear pad set comes with a new pin and pads, at least the one I have bought did. The aftermarket pad sets only include the pads - so I buy Honda.
