How is your old cable you remove it and clean it out, force a mild solvent through the cable then blow out with compressed air, dirt usually stiffens them up, also take the side cover off the shifter and clean it out where the cables go in that makes it shift hard or not at all.

I usually flush and clean cables with silicone spray or something like WD-40

90% of the "bad" cables I have encountered in my life time are actually just dirty so clean and lube good to go the only bad cables I have found are High load high use cables lik clutch cables on bikes and quads they usually meet a early death because of dirt, ever notice a street bike clutch cable will last 70k miles and 25 years but the same cable in the dirt is dead in 3-4 years

Worth a try before you pay 50 bux for a 12.00 cable

$50.00 - I wish I could find one for that. More like $100.00.

I have purchased from both those sellers with excellent transactions! Recommend them highly to you for parts buying.

I bet you have companies over their that can make custom cables also, probably cheaper, ask around take the old one with you.
