I figure if it really is in excellent condition, $5975 is the most it's worth.
IMO its worth 4k and not a penny more that's if it runs as good as it looks in the provided pictures.
Its a 2000
Its the early version with the cockpit that is tighter than a Pilot the machine was built around a guy that was 5'6" tall and weighted about 150 lbs then marketed to people over 6' and 200 lbs.
It has no belt guard
It has no air box
The car came new with a rebuilt used
Engine not a NEW Engine like later versions.
Some of these cars came with really weak frames little or no bracing, gussets, made from really cheap ass tubing like the quality used in cheap lawn furniture.
This version had all kinds of axle problems any jumping at all and you have to wrench on axles.
It might have cost 12k new but its worth 4k today max, it was worth 9k 3 months after it was bought new.
I drove one of these new they run really good, fast, strong, were fairly reliable other than short belt life and the axle problems, trans seemed bullet proof just geared way too high IMO.
For someone looking for a trailer queen and a camp queen that is only going to run 15 gallons of gas per season taking a ride around the dunes and impressing the crowds by running fast by them it will make the perfect machine, for a serious rider or racer who is going to run it under race like conditions PASS go buy something else.
For someone who thinks they can build a better car BUY THIS one for under 6k and save yourself 3-4k fix the problems on this one as they happen.
