Just got done checking out all the pics. Seems like they always say low hours but never give compression numbers. The rear tires look pretty worn down and the paint below the hand grips gone. What kinda hours it take to wear the tread down. Def a nice looking pilot but the low hours thing is so subjective. Again, one of the nicer looking ones ive seen and not rediculous price, should go fast.

You guys are pros! As you can tell I'm new to forum. Went back and looked at what you guys mentioned. Definitely good eyes! Im not buying just constantly looking. In process of saving money up to start restoring my 1989 pilot.

Its not a bad pilot just the description is misleading. Most pilots out there have been rolled or tipped over. Its an offroad vehicle it happens and if your looking to buy a pilot its kind of expected that they have been over a time or two. In pics even as bad as his you can see where is been worn good. its been stood up as well due to the scrapes in the rear upper bar on the chassis.

Good eye about his feedback, feedback usually doesnt lie and if it does, the seller can reply to the the negative feedback, he didnt do that which means screw the buyer, he got his money. I wouldn't believ a word the seller has to say about the Pilot. Like EZ said "immaculate condition" is in the eye of the beholder etc!!

Call the guy,get more info, see what his bottom line is,see if he's willing to ship it etc etc.Tell him you want to send a proxy over to check it out, check the compression etc.If he's willing to do that and your still interested I'll see if I can make it over there.

Thx red! He is open to all that let me see if he is capable of doing a comp test himself. His bottom line is aligned with my budget and a fair price if it all checks out.
