About a month ago a friend's GF was driving my FL350 around my yard when the stock clutch exploded. The primary clutch blew apart into many pieces, damaging the belt guard and skid plate on the way out. There was no trace of the outer half left on the crank. Both the long skinny bolt and the larger short outer bolt were still present and tight.

I bought a 94c to replace it, but I'm not sure how to get the inner half of the clutch off. I did remove both bolts with an impact without any issues. I've done several searches on this forum and Google, but no luck yet. Is there a special puller for the inner half? Does the inner half usually come off with the outer half?

Any tips, tricks, or suggestions would be appreciated.

Ah, ok, so the half that is left is 1 piece with the shaft, and the entire shaft will come off? Obviously this is my first time tearing into an Odyssey.

yes the entire shaft will come off with the shaft

here is what u need

the bolt size is 3/4" - 16 treads per inch and I will be using a 2.5" spacer (1/2" ID pipe) to remove my clutch.

I got the clutch off today, it came off pretty easy. None of the big box stores had a 3/4-16 bolt, so I had to wait until this morning to pick up at local hardware store. I used a 5/8" bolt with the head cut off as the spacer. The clutch came right off as soon as I hit it with the impact, and now the Comet is installed.
