I wish my spool gun module would come in for my welder I thought I was ready to go until I went to plug it up to my esab multimaster 260 and I had the tig module but not the spool gun aaaaaaarrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeggggg! so i ordered it thought I would have it oh no its been back ordered supposed to drop ship from mfg. Cant wait to pull the trigger .

if you have the tig module, why not just buy a tig torch. and tig weld.

I keep wacking away at it. I made some anti vibration mounts for the CDI (Capacitor Discharge Ignition) today and will finish mounting the tank in a few hours.

Finished it today. Had one minor leak. All I have to do is wire the fan and make a heat shield for the seat. However I'm out of town for the weekend.

Its about ready to fire off. I have to wrap the header, route the fuel return line, install the seat, and fire it off.

I am thinking about mounting this old gas bottle as the oil tank for the rotary valve and putting another on the the other side as the radiator over flow. they would be painted blue win a NOZ sticker on them

Heck if it isnt ready bring the rc buggie on that is on the top shelf or the oddy behind the pilot. lol

well i got it running last night and will test drive it today. if all goes well i will be headed to little sahara by lunch on thursday!!!


the rc buggy would be fun but they are more work then the pilot. I have to work on them every time that i play with them.
the oddy needs the tank put back in and it is a little low on compression (100 psi).

5 heat cycles, what are you waiting for take it out and run it, nothing to really gain by that many heat cycles unless your having problems getting air out of your cooling system or chasing leaks etc.

On fresh engines rings need a load to make them seat, lugging them makes them seat faster, many OEMs don't like you to lug a Engine because most operators are too stupid to do it right and end up hurting the rings, lugging creates higher cylinder pressure that forces the rings out against the cylinder walls creating more friction, more wear (mating of parts) that speeds up the sealing of the rings.

LOL yeah the black fenders, Well wheels and I hit a few times in the races and they are both broken. So when we put the flames on the hood with the skull I did the fenders to blend in with the flames. Kind of like the skull is coming out of a black cloud. The five heats were when we were trying to stop the pipe leak. Ill get a video of a wheelie. If you hit it to hard you'll end up on your roof.

what did you use for hoses?

i used the front lower from the ski doo and spliced it into a coupler with the fan controller. the other one i also spliced. the hoses were a pain.
