OK, here are some of the results from the summer of sixes ride.

The big ride was a great time and wound up with the normal predictable attrition.

By the time I left, there were three crashes, we are waiting for confessions from Stitch and Toycrasher, full stories to follow when the photos are processed.

There was a fair amount of carnage, both human and machine. Stitch (Fed) was the first, fell off the little trike when returning to camp. Dennis also came off his trike a time or two. Toyman rolled a brand new Bombardier 800 down the dunes at Killpecker with virtually no damage, then tried to prove that a Drakart can fly, it can, but his final landing was pretty rough. Fed siezed his Engine at Killpecker, Hoser didn't like like the way his 440 sounded at St Anthony, so he put another Engine in just before I left. There was a lot of tuning and tweaking going on, cool at night and hot in the days, so jetting was big challenge.

Stitch (Fed) got the first medical attention, Nuke'em has the photo evidence, Toyman looked like he was in need of attention and likely some X-rays, we will give him a little time to tell his story, then, if he doesn't, someone probably will.

Chamions, Pilotman has the cleanest and best looking, Hoser has the largest toyhauler, Dennis seems to have the fastest and most modified machines, MGR and Gottaride had the most toys, Fed and Nuke'm win the baling wire and chewing gum contest, Toyman has the most damage, and I had the most stuff fall off my trailer, including the pooper drain.

I will come forward to make clear for the record that the Drakart is an extremely tough car to withstand what mine did with minimal damage. I'll also admit that I became over confident of my ability to drive this car at the speeds it could attain without being certain of the terrain I was driving on. Bad judgement on my part but the Drak did it's job of keeping me safe. I'll post some pictures once I get them.

I just talked to Dennis, he and Hoser are headed back tomorrow. Today, they went way east of where any of us had been before, he says there is another entire dune field there, we will have to try it out next time.

Ike, you were right about the short cut, it was only about 2/3 the distance of the way I went out there, thanks for letting us know. I sure felt bad about your crash, I sure hope you had no lasting personal injuries. I also was really glad to see how the Drak stood up to the beating.

Even though I got little time to really check out this park what I saw was enough to convince me that I certainly want to visit it again. Some I spoke to said they had been to Galamis & liked it better. I've never been there as of yet so I can't say. I know I want in on the fall gathering at this park and anyone else considering it should start planning now.

Nukems 420 cylinder with the head off because of a blown head gasket, note blow by on cylinder wall, cant wait to see piston pics when he takes it apart to see what caused the vapor trail down the cylinder wall.

Good pics keep them coming anybody get any pics of the hoser bling machine? I need to find a stock cylinder and head for that thing so it has more torque! The new turbine core silencer is setting in the shop waitng to be installed...

Wiggins you looking for a drag race top end for your trike?

Keep a eye out for a ROTAX type 454 engines in your area, talk to your sled contacts I am looking for a few more to add to my parts collection... I would even consider a complete sled they use to come in the skidoo 9500 Blizzard sleds

Any big scores on Saturdays hunt?

Send me an email or a pm w/ the details. I was considering sending you up my stock jug(the one in the box you saw) to have the secret mojo done to it.

I just scored an '85 ATC250R that needs reassembled. Gotta get a few things on order.

Hoser, do you know anyone who makes the urathane bushings for the 250R and 350X swinger pivots?

More pictures.

Hoser, I talked to Stitch tonight on the way home. Sounds like the video editing is progressing nicely. Are you sending a copy of your helmet cam stuff out here to get blended into the movie? We can add some St A stuff too, if you guys want.

I watched some of what he did with what he's got now. He had Judas Priest singing turbo lover in the background while Jerry was ripping through the water in very slow motion carring the front wheeles back and forth. It looked like an awsome commercial for Drakarts. Someone should send it to whoever is building them now. I still have "Wood"! LOL

Yeah, I watch the temps at several places, including there. they been running about 20 degrees cooler than at my place, looking forward to returning.

Depending on the time, I just might have a new ride, I think there may be a Suzuki in my future.
