Have a machine shop make a sprocket hub to fit the oddy's trans shaft. Try to run a small sprocket on the trans the closer to 1:1 the better as the oddy box is 9:1. Also I would not lengthen the frame like in the pics. that is a very structural area that involves your safety. I would lengthen it behind the drivers area roll bar.

The oddysey in the pics was lengthened at the points in yellow. If you lengthen it at the points you selected your front down tube will not bolt up. Plus how would you shift into reverse. I would lengthen it at the points colored in aqua. Your suggested points compromise your safety. The roll cage/drivers compartment was engineered by Honda to provide a safe vehicle. You are doubling the horsepower of the vehicle I think you would wanna keep it safe. I am not sure the rear downtubes will line up either at the recommended aqua points but I do feel it would be far safer and the additional work involved would be worth your safety.

Why change the frame at all?

If you must and need more room why not just move the trans and Engine mount area back leave the rest alone?

because you are messing with an engineered safety component aka the drivers compartment.

I am going to throw my 2 cents in too. Like they said, If you mess with the roll cage(ie: lengthing it), you may be endangering you self. Don't get me wrong, I would love to see it happen for you, just be sure you understand what you are doing and maybe get some info from a local racecar builders shop on cage integrity. If you do that, please post what you find out from them.

350s can make great power using the original style Engine with lots of mods, they are actually faster than modified Pilots if setup right(oops, now I stirred up the bee hive). The 350s main downfall is its suspension, suck-ass at best on rough terrain. I have a bad feeling about it if you get that kind of power in yours, unless you are just making a drag strip runner out of it.???????

Keep us posted
Gary

i think im not going to use the cbr motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) beacuse its just to much trouble to mess with the four carbs and too much wiring i think im going to do a single cylinder motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) conversion what motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) do you guy suggest i use for the ody.

i want it to be atleast 800cc and affordable i want to be able to wheelie the ody.

Most ATV-ish things are cheapest late fall/early winter, so that is when you want to buy.

The new 700 Raptor Engine is about the biggest single piston Engine that comes to mind. The KFX700 is a belt drive Engine and might make hooking it up to the tranny easier.

I would suggest an EFI system, if you go with a cycle Engine.

im actually looking for a motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) i can pick up at a cycle junkyard i seriously doubt there will be any new raptor 700's at the salvage yard esspecially for cheap.

i think the cheapest way to do it is to get a motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) cycle mechanic to help me with the wiring on the cbr 4 cyl beacuse i heard they are pretty reliable and have close to 100hp and 80ftlbs of tourque.

100hp and 80ftlbs of tourque would be way more power than you will ever need in a 350

I stuffed a kz 750 Engine in my 350 frame without lenghtening it. I did remake the bottom section of frame (where the original Engine and trans mounted as my donor frame was severly damaged in that area) These frames bend easily enough with the speeds attained with a stock Engine, I sure wouldn't want to reduce the integrity of the cage. The greatest welder in the world is no good if the geometry of the cage is off because it was lengthened. I also upgreaded all the suspension and brakes. The power is nothing without being able to control it.
