Just arrived, we are selling this very nice Sand Rail Dune Buggy for a friend.

Built for the Oregon sand dunes, it is powered by a rebuilt 1978 Chevrolet
350 V-8 and 350 turbo transmission. Complete 4X4 running gear from the
same 1/2 ton pickup. Rebuilt brakes and oversized wheels & tires.

High cool external transmission oil cooler and electric fan for
radiator cooling. Ready to have fun....

Includes dual axle trailer to trailer it anywhere.

BILL OF SALE ONLY - NO TITLE VEHICLE

driven only about 250 miles since completed

Yeah that's ugly as hell but that really couldnt go on the dunes
Was that advertised as a sandrail or a gocart?

It says it only has 250 miles on it since completion. It didn't take long to realize it sucks.

It probably works just fine but he's too embarrassed to be seen driving it. Kind of like riding a moped. They're a lot of fun to ride but you don't want to let your friends see you riding it.

What I see when looking at that thing..... enclose all of the side panels for a 70's style dune van!

I do love the way they mounted the seats. The outboard seat mount is attached to the aide of the frame rail...... CLASSIC!

It looks like its all thick tubing also. Usually the larger square tubing that is light gauge has a tighter bend on the edge. I bet its all 1/4" wall or thicker. It probably weighs a lot!

This lovely contraption is still available! Price is down to $750. I like to refer to it as the "Can't-Am Spyder" as opposed to "Can-Am".
