Hi All,
I popped a tie rod end on my Pilot.
I need help locating a new one. I don't have a stock one to compare to.

And this Pilot was the "Wheelman" project pilot.

Take a look at the pics.

Thanks
MassOdy
Or Should I say Squarerim.

I am pretty sure that's the stock Honda Pilot tie rod end, if so I would replace it with a Honda part this is the first one I ever seen fail, no doubt it failed because of the application and it increased angle?

It come out that dry or did you clean it off it looks like it needs grease...

If Lee don't answer on the identify question I can take some slose up pics of mine tonight after work...

Thanks for looking at this!

It looks similar to stock to me. I compared it to the 350s spare I have and its very similar just scaled larger.

It was this dry. I may have wiped it a bit. But, not much.

It just popped off as I was wheeling it in the garage.
It popped loose in PA for sure. Right in the end I recall the wheel oscillating back and forth more than normal as I was hauling ass back to the trucks. Good thing it was dirt and forgiving.

question (I should do more PM) : How do I grease these. Just pull back the boot and shoot some in? I know I also need to clean up the aftermarket steering setup on this.

No doubt its also the aggressive driving I do in these woods and the "squarerim" factor kicking in. Keeping up with Hare and Co. is a challenge at times.
