Took the Ody out for my first real ride this weekend and the new 94c ribbed cover clutch got stuck in the fully engaged position twice. Both times had to tap 2 of the pucks back in for it top release the belt. Anyone ever deal with this?

Yup we had that issue with my brothers machine once but that was a non ribbed 94c.
It needed to be lubed up. I thought they didn't need any maintenance, baahahahahaha.

Here are a couple of pics of our issue.
The clutch jammed at the end of a very high speed straight. When he slowed to make a 90' turn it was all over.

File comment: Check out all the rust LOL. We never lubed it since the day we put it on. Live and learn.

Had the same problem.

Check your belt width too. Mine was worn and allowed the pucks to extend out further then they should. That's when the cocked and lodged between the cover.

Clutch and belt are brand new. Also lubed the pucks and the the ribbed part of the cap with the Comet lube and let it dry for 24hrs. Noticed the lip of the clutch has a small bend so maybe that has something to do with it. Going to send it back and go with a 102c

If you haven't already, confirm the belt width by measuring it. New does not guarantee it is correct.

We run dayco 3004 and they are 1 3/16" wide (top side).
I don't remember what the min belt width is right at the moment but if you check the manual for the min rating on the stock clutch unit you will probably be close.
Edit: I just checked it -- if it's 1 1/16" it is done.
