Hey everyone, I finally found a FL350 odyssey and along with it he had 2 FL250. The guy I bought them from got them for payment of a job he did for a guy that lived in Florida but his cabin was in Hibbing MN which was where I went to get them. The guy I bought them from only had them a year but the previous owner had them since early 90's. All the title papers were taped to the back of the license number plates.
I ended up getting the FL350, 80' yellow FL250, and a 83' FL250 with electric start all for $3,400. The other 81' FL250 I picked up last summer. I for sure will be selling the yellow FL250 and possibly will be selling the 81' FL250. All of them ran great, although the FL350's
motor ((
Internal Combustion Engine ? )) lost compression after i brought them home, so a rebuild is in order. Compression was 132psi when i went to pick them up and after a little riding I continued to check it and it was down to 126psi then took it out again and that was it. It's too bad i guess but at least the rest of it is in really great shape! other than a missing correct front bumper, foot pad, and snorkel tube...I got the stock air box along with it.
The 83' big red was my grandpas, he bought it brand new and she still looks like it rolled off the showroom floor!
Now since I finally got my FL350, I thought i'd start a thread of the progress on it and the FL250's. I just want to say thanks again to the people that have been so helpful on the forum, it makes owning them a lot more enjoyable knowing you have someone knowledgeable to help!!
