I think I will share this one now. Our plant will be closing permanently in December. This is a youtube video that was posted a few years back and it actually happened. The guy who made it and posted it changed the names of all those involved by changing the first letter of everyone's name. "Tandy is actually "Sandy" the production superintendent and the white house is the main computer room in the center of the plant. Enjoy.

Sorry guys I have to bump this.
Every time I view this I Lmfao because I know all those involved.
Benny is actually Denny the company azz kisser and charge hand. Donn Donald is Roland our union rep and a guy I worked with every weekend. He was a millwright like me.
To bad the joint closed down. We all had a great time there, including our bosses in maintenance.
It was the production that had all the real issues.

Also I made a mistake at the beginning here. It was the Randy character that was Sandy the superintendent.

Reducer on the right is not square, everything else looks perfect!

Vid is still funny, no matter how many times I watch it.

Nope on the reducer.
We were using pipe fittings and a hydraulic ram. Pipe fittings are cast and can shatter under high pressure like that. Dangerous. We got away with murder in that place :-)

That's a long story.
I was the company golden haired boy. I could do no wrong. Each of us had an area and machines that we looked after. I was on the machine that made the money if it kept running. I made sure to look after the money line. Down time was almost zero. I actually quit this company three times but they always hired me back. I never quit because I was mad, I quit because a sexier job came up somewhere else, but I always ended up back there. It was my default job.
The helmet star: Since I was the golden haired boy some clown glued a gold star on my hard hat. My nick name was gold star. The wording on the star was "Dream Big". We all had nick names. "Boots" he so far up the company azz all you could see was his "boots". "Grasshopper" was our apprentice when I first started there. He was high strung and always jumping around the machine like a "Grasshopper". "Hollywood" because he always wore dark sunglasses indoors. "Bambi killer" because every year he would hit at least one deer with his vehicle coming to work.

Almost forgot one -- the best -- "Fonzy" (from the show happy days). "Fonzy" was an electrician but if you called him that he would get so mad he would go home. "Fonzy" used to wear a black leather jacket, slicked back hair with gel and perfume like street corner ho. Strong stuff you could smell a block away.

There was also "Hexe".
She was our shop helper. "Hexe" is German for witch.
When ever we needed some O2 or acetylene bottles we called "Hexe" on the radio. She knew what that meant because she was a square head like Roland and I. Probably get FN sued for that shyte now.
