I would like to pull my aftermarket exhaust off to clean and shine it up. I noticed the input of the pipe at the cylinder looks like it is held in with 3 small bolts. They look like they would just snap off if they were stuck at all. I think I would use a propane torch to heat them up. Are these small bolts a problem? Any tricks I should know in advance to getting these out? Thanks...
Get a 8mm socket and put the socket on a extension and hit the end of the extension hard, what your trying to do is shock the threads so they break their bond with the aluminum I have had 100% success rate doing this.
Take pictures of the inside of the manifold, inside the exhaust port tunnel and inside the pipe and post.
