I thought it had not loaded, after loading second pic, first one showed up also.

I don't know that this trio is for sale, sitting along the side of the street with no locks on the back doors.

I have been kinda looking at this type of truck, not to replace trailer, but mostly as a hauler for shorter trips. Began to reaize that these can be had for the price of a real premium trailer. Seen old ones for 15/2500, newer for 8 to 12 grand. I plan to call this outfit tomorrow and see if these are surplus and how much they might want for them.

I have seen a couple of these on ebay, very low milage, former Air Force crew vans, just took the seats out of the rear, ready made Pilot hauler, with the diesel it should pull plenty in addition.

Duramax is 6.6, I think this one is from mid 90's till Duramax. I would think that the Duramax might be an evolution of this Engine, since this is also a V8 and approx the same size. Pretty rare to see a diesel in a van this size, most have either 5.4 Ford or 5.7 Chevy, now and then, some are 6.0 GM, but not many.

Years ago you had a diesel Blazer, what did it have, the 6.2?

Yeah mine was a non turbo 6.2

I am guessing that one has about the same torque as a 454 had that year not no 500 ft lbs more like 385 ft lbs if that.

Even at 350 punds of torque, it should pull as much as an 8.1 gas Engine, and maybe get better mileage?

I think the truck Odykid had before his current truck had the same Engine a turbo 6.5 should be enough power heck my old MH only had 185 hp 5.7 and I was at 13k lbs all the time heh
