I don't use the Honda "T".
I make my own check valves using a pipe fitting, a ball bearing and a very small spring.
The spring just prevents the ball from going all the way to the top and plugging the hole. It DOES NOT HOLD THE BALL BEARING DOWN. Everything just floats or moves inside. You have to confirm the spring does not push on the ball bearing by shaking it by hand after it is put together. The weight of the steel ball bearing is what creates the back pressure. IT MUST BE MOUNTED VERTICLE. Both our machines are like that and we have no issues.
Just another option if you don't have a spare "T".
Very clever of you there. I went ahead and ordered another "T" but I'll file this away for possible future use. Thanks
