Hello all -- I'll do my best to keep this short.

This is not my first post, but consider this a better introduction. I'm a college student born and raised in the PNW. I grew up with a crummy one wheel drive go kart with no suspension. After I decided I needed more power, I built a go kart with a 340cc sled Engine with no rear suspension . Then, I decided I liked my back not hurting, so I looked into odysseys. I found a challenger frame, but I determined I wanted something else. I finally stumbled upon a nice odyssey for a nice price. Guy I got it from was the second owner. It was used but taken care of and well maintained. I've had it for a while, but haven't had the time to post because of life. So far, I've driven it a healthy amount and fixed a few things.

Anyways, after reading through this forum and receiving help for a while, I am happy to be a fellow owner.

If only. I've heard it's quite expensive. Could probably buy more odysseys if I had the money from it! It's actually just some front wheel bearings and receipts of previous work/parts, lol.

That looks like a clean Oddy. Welcome. Curious how it goes in that deep of snow? I've never ridden one in snow before. Does it go ok?

In my experience, once the snow is deep enough to start hitting the frame on the bottom you move VERY slow. 3 inches or so is pretty fun though.


I am anxious to try paddle tires in the snow next time I have a chance.

That's pretty much my experience as well. They don't do well in any amount of snow. Must be well below the frame to be any fun or they just bog down. Never tried that paddle tire idea though, but I think that would just get you stuck faster and they don't steer well in deep snow. The 3-4" is ideal.

It goes pretty well in the snow. Most amount of snow we rode in was in the attached picture, I think it was around 3 or 4 inches of fresh snow. With the new bearclaw tires on the back, it did very good. Didn't get stuck at all
