Well, on the pipe coating, I took the easy way out. Sent it out and had it done. This coating is supposed to be good for up to 2,000 degrees, sure hope it never gets that hot.

Here are some closeups, it is ceramic coating, I hope it is good for life, cost $150, the place is close to me, others talked about 2-300 or more, so, we will see if I got a deal or not.

The detail on these is not great, the end of the pipe has another piece of pipe over it, this is what the flange presses against to hold it all together.

I was just most curious how he designed it, were do you feel the most power, low or high in the rpm, or maybe you cant tell. i have been studying up a bit on exhaust building, as i got one to do myself, and from what i am reading, start small and go larger....This creates exhaust scavenging, everyone does it different tho, that's why i was interested, so 150 bucks, we ship to you and you can get it done right? :-)

Sure ship it to me, I can find a can of paint that looks pretty much like that.

Actually, if you are in a metro area, I would think that some place near you would be a better deal than what shipping would cost.

Since Alain custom builds these for his machines, I don't feel comfortable posting pictures of them. I have seen many on other buggies, most are floor mounted. I believe you can get a variety of these from various buggy builders and parts places.

I would stay with the cable driven accelerator and clutch, just seems easiest and most dependable to me.
