I just trying to find out who I could use and a round about price.I know that I would be able to take it to a bigger city If I had to ,if it was cheaper(like Reno Nv. Or Sacramento Ca.I think the weight is about 600 lbs but what would I classify it as?Turbo, even if you went to bakersfield or somewhere close.Or let me know what I should ask the to help describe what I'm sending?

Just tell them it is a Large ATV, With the dimensions. If you can get it put on a large Pallet that will add Less than Truckload companies like roadway, yellow freight, and the like to the choices to choose from... If you go with a car hauler like DAS or horseless carriage expect to pay a little bit more, but your vehicle will be handle a lot better than what the yellows or roadway's will do. The LTL companies will transfer the pallet several times on it's way to you, thus increasing the odds of damage. If you use a common carrier like the company I am with then describe the item as a drive on ATV. You will want to make sure that the seller and you have ramps to get the ride up on a Step deck trailer that only sits about 3 1/2 feet off the ground. If you load it on a flat bed trailer, it will be about 4 1/2 to 5 foot off the ground and the standard 8 ft ramps we atv'ers use will be too steep of a climb or descent to safely load. If you ask for a trailer with ramps expect to pay a lot more because these are rated at 30,000# ramps that require some heavy labor to set up... So have your own ramps ready.
Any thing that I have left unclear just let me know... You can post it here, so others may benefit, but PM me also as sometimes I might miss a thread like this and wouldn't want to be considered rude...

Just had a 350 shipped to me. Used FedEx Feight Services. The crate it was in was pretty impessive, had to remove the rear wheels at the axles to get it to fit on the crate. I'll post pics of the crate when I can. Anyway, the bill of sale was placed on the seat, and a binder with various information, new jets, etc was placed in the foot pan, and then shrinkwrapped.

Shipped great, the use of a forklift was almost a requirement. Clocked in at a whopping 849 lbs I think. Oh had to completely drain the gas, and oil, well the oil just had to have 0 leaks. Anyway, the bill of sale showed up still sitting on the seat, binder was in foot well, everything was great.

I didn't pay for it, online quote was supposedly something like $1190 for Tulsa OK to Grand Rapids, MI. The shipper works for a large company who got a smoking deal on shipping because they do so much business with fedex. Anyway, a closed truck palletized shipment worked here. Of course it was a realtively short distance, and a very nice crate made for its protection. Complete with having the stub axles through wood blocks nailed to the pallet to keep it in place.

Of note, I didn't do any of the work for the crate, just received it and spent some quality time taking it apart :-)

Yeah I shipped my first KFX700 to Mich for 375.00. last year. Was a private company this other guy new of. They were bonded and ran duallies with 24 foot pace trailers. He would make a route with 5 or six deliveries but it all worked out great. Guy got it in a week. Pick up guy was funny as hell too and gave me his personal cell in case the other guy tride to say the 4 wheeler was not as sweet as I advertised it. LOL I got his card somewhere.
