Hello
rework repair Knuckle for Trackside

started to day knuckle is not that bad one side looks pretty good other side
need a lot of weld
well let get started with the pic's

Trying some thing a little
different this time around.
By putting it in dry sand it will
hold the heat in the part longer
and will have less hard spots.

well that it for today more tomorrow

Well here is the bad side
every thing went well

The bucket of sand worked great it held the heat in the part a lot longer witch helps on the cooling
if the part air cools down to fast the cast steel will get hard

Great job Speedchaser! The knuckle looks awesome, and thanks for the bargain price. Glad you were able to fix the whole in the box too, even though you did not have any Trackside tape to work with.
