I will check sag first, I am aiming for 25% to 30% is this right?
Now I feel it is bottoming out too easy... adding nitrogen will increase ride hieght, but also reduce sag am I correct?

Right adding nitrogen will increase ride height and reduce sag, it will also make the shock rebound faster, adding more oil will increase the compression ratio meaning as the shock reaches the end of travel it will get harder or stiffer keep you from bottoming out.

I send an email to Downsouth motorsports, and he seems to think the valving is wrong. He didn't know what kind of vehicle these were going on either so just went off of what I told him online order form. He said these shocks are more for slow speed stuff and then I reminded him of the redline revolt! I am going to take them off and send to him to revalve... If anyone knows how the redlines are valved let me know so he has something to work with besides my video... The rubber donut is not a stopper, it is used to see how much shaft is being used, so I will go out and fim some more!!!

On a good notew the hood I made sure blocks the cold wind down and makes driving warmer!!!

You can throw your old shocks on and TURBOVISION the same sequence of driving, and see what you have. Would be interesting. Maybe E-mail redline, or phone them for their valving?

Yea I am going to... since I have to put the shocks back on anyway...

from our PM's the Revolt shocks mount different than the Pilot thus having a different motion ratio and are longer so the setup would be different.

Unfortunately you are the ginny pig, looks to me like your shocks are set up perfect for the top 3/4 of the stroke but the bottom 1/4 is to soft can they make the bottom 2" stiffer? also looks like you need less rebound.

I am wondering if the nitrogen would do the last 2 inches...

What I see is your bucking just like the stock shocks. Looks like to me that your rebound is way to high and your compression might be a bit high also. What is your valving numbers and your psi set at?My valving is 50/70 and i have no bucking at all My psi is set at 200 but I weight 250 . You might want to call fox and talk to a tech and explain that the rear end is bucking and see what they recomend.

Awesome video, but I have a hard time believing they valved yours the same as mine,or the pressure? I never experienced the bottoming, or bucking. With me being lighter, wouldn't mine be even worse? And I have no idea why, but they did seem to ride better each time the first few trips.

I would think its the other way... me being 20 pounds heavier makes it bottom that much easier, and bounce that much moer... I didn't think 20 # would matter???

Once on Ol Blue I got to Little Sahara and found that I had one shock that had lost it's pressure and was flat, fortunately, Hoser was there and had a kit to refill it and saved my trip. After that I had a kit made up to refill them. Basically, it is a small nitrogen bottle, hoses and gauges to control the amount added or bled off. I think it cost me around 200 bucks, and since it made it easy to change the settings for various riding conditions I considered it good investment, Now on the Tiger, I have coil overs with rezzies and haven't used it since.

I would think if you are handy enough that you might be able to make up a kit yourself for a bit less, someone here may know what all you would need to do it.

For 20 dollars a pop, they should supply a "happy ending" as the volume in the shocks would cost them a penny. high pressure, but very little volume. They should charge 20 for making it available forever, and I would not want a happy ending from any of the mechanics up here

You are funny read to much craigslist LOL

i was told to drop the nit to 125 and to see what that does, then to send them back for re-valving...

Why are you worried so much about ride height? Worry about the ride and feel and dial that in. Get your valving and pressure set to a good feel and balanced for your racing and when you ride and your ride height will be fine.

I think hes refering to using the fox airs on your stock suspension. Meaning its not aftermarket suspension
