Hello, I'm new to this and i bought a fl350 that runs but will only run at quarter throttle, If you open up more it dies out! i took the crb off and cleaned it but didn't find anything really wrong? any ideas?

Sounds like low fuel delivery at demand.
Check with a plug chop,dry?wet?
Check float settings,and install a NEW fuel filter if old one is still in use.

or main jet, but yes make sure you have good fuel at carb first

Sounds like the rev-limiter to me.Look on the back on the trans there s switch coming out if the back side, it has 2 wires, check them to see if they have been grounded or the connections are bad.

I just had the same problem with my FL250... I moved the air screw out and bent the floats up a tiny bit... i would check the air screw first. (im not sure which was the actual cause, i was impatient and tried them both at the same time rather than test individually :shock: )

Are you running a gravity system or fuel pump?
Does it bog every time, or is it more inconsistent?

Hello, i would also like to know where the needle needs to be for the boyesen reeds? Right now i noticed its at the next to bottom! but i don't think that's the whole problem!
