If you remember ,,,,,,,, i set my rear Fox air's at 60/90 and am happy with them.
I am now looking at some fronts to replace the Works Perf. shocks. I did compare shim stacks
with Drakman ,,,,,,,,, his rears were 50/85 ,,,,,, his fronts 45/45 ,,, comparing the two ,,,,,,,,
i am thinking of starting out with 50/50 in the fronts ??? ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, tom

How much travel you have in the front? Problem I had was the shock trying to
top out, it would extend too fast then bottom out the top out spring, compress
it into coil bind, it happen enough to break the springs http://pilotodyssey.com/FOX.htm
the fix was to add more dampening to slow it down as it extended so it would
not top out an more, my rebound was well over 90 when done, I never had a
problem with the suspension packing with too much rebound, only having 7-10"
travel you end up with the tire not following the terrain like a drakart with 16"
travel.... unless your on a track with the same exact terrain each lap shock
settings is nothing but a compromise...

Hoser,
I have about 12.5" of travel in front, it works well but i am thinking about having adjustability
so as to get the front and rear working together off of jumps to stabilize my air time. I have not
been at that point yet ,,,,, our last outing at SL was spent checking Jan's buggy and how the Beast
ran with the Power Commander. We are looking to go again April 22nd-24th. I am also trying to
design a rear wing not as big as Radicals is, but something for looks and maybe some help to
trim out my air time. I would rather set my shocks up for the best damping i can get rather than
trying to adjust to level out my jumping, BUT THAT MIGHT BE THE SAME THING ???? ,,,,,,, tom
