Hello
here we have a 14mm rod end off the rear swing arm
that are sloppy and ((not available from Honda))

First to get the boot off the best way I found is to spray them with silicone lubricant in side and out
Them put them in boiling water for a time to soften them up then try to slide them off

OK once we have the boot off the fun begins
we need to clean them up good you will notice the the rod end has a felt like stuff on the in side
leave it in there. Then I put them in oil I used chainsaw bar oil for a time.

I made a tool to press the outer rings down more to tighten them up see pic's
they are like new my not last like new but I can do this every so often when I do maintenance on the machine

thanks For looking

SpeedChaser

P.S. I will do this for members here for free if remove boots and clean an oil
you pay shipping both ways

So pressing them takes the slop out of the joint? How have they lasted since doing yours Speed.

Holding up good no problems yet
this how they make them by rolling the out side edge round the ball to hold the ball in
