I am getting ready to split the cases on my 89 Pilot due to reasons beyond my control. I am in serious need of the crankcase gasket and a seal 42x65x11. Does anybody know where I can get these?

If your going to split the bottom end you need a complete Engine gasket kit
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5526

The seal your looking for is the right side crank seal?
OIL SEAL (42X65X11) 91203-HE0-003

Been a lot of discussion about this seal

If you split the crank cases you need to replace the crank bearings their has been a lot of discussion about these bearings too
https://www.google.com/search?q=style+g ... 24&bih=583

Pressing the cases apart puts the force required against the bearings balls and races and damages the bearings, bearings were not designed for these types of thrust loads.

If you follow the service manuals instructions and methods of installing the new bearings then you put no stress on the balls when you reassemble the cases and bearings.

All kinds of Pilot Engine rebuilds and CSI's on this site to get tips and tricks from when rebuilding a Pilot Engine.

Do you know if they have the Honda seal or if they are just selling a seal something like this?

Hoser, that seal is NBR (Buna) not Viton. Ids the stock seal Viton? I am in SERIOUS need of one.

The mag side seal is all black I have no idea what material its made from maybe LEE knows?

Here are some pictures of the seal. viewtopic.php?f=37&t=9644

The clutch side seal is all black except for where the seal makes contact with the crankshaft and that part is the redish brown color like you see with a Viton seal almost like a insert that is molded into the seal.

I have seen replacement seals for the clutch side that were not Honda seals and they were all black, I have never tried one of these.
