Why you want a 102C ?

Follow this link for some pictures of the reality of a 102C when used on a Pilot life on a FL350 wont be much better since they are exposed the same, if you live in the desert or only ride dunes when its dry probably not a problem.

102C was not designed for a harsh environment they were designed for under the hood of a snowmobile or in a enclosed belt drive, years ago racers brought them into the Odyssey and Pilot arena the racing game is to spend as much or more time on maintenance and repairs as you do racing.

A 94c will tolerate the environment was use these clutches in much better.

If you go with a 102C find buy and use the cover they offer.

BOTH clutches require the comet clutch lube buy a can when you buy the clutch lube the clutch before you install, their is no substitute for the "comet" lube I have yet to see a dry lubricant that comes any where close to the comet lube at any price. http://www.mfgsupply.com/snowmobile/sno ... 7a-w1.html

Search around the price on the lube varies quite a bit from vendor to vendor.

We make a lube here at work that has the same ingredients and this is what I use....

But have you ever compared the two I have yet to see a dry lube at any price that clings to metal as good as the comet lube does heck its 2x better than most paints in a spray can.

Nope. I have only used the stuff we make. Maybe you should get a can Of the Crown 6080 and do a comparison! I would but I'm a cheap bastard! LOL

What color is the liquid in the Comet Lube? I am curious because we put a little Lamp Black into the formula so you can see where it has been applied. And it also clings very very well to metal. It is a pain in the ass to get off if you get over spray on anything.
