i need to remove my driven pulley on my odyssey and was looking threw the manual and didn't find any thing

my slippers are warn completely off and might of ruined the aluminum that it slides on looks like it did
and how long do the slipper last on a driven pully?

To remove the driven clutch from the machine just take the bolt out and it should slide right off. I also did myself a favor for the future and never seize on the shaft at reassembly. ::-:

When I rebuilt the Ody for my daughter I had to use a puller to get the Clutch off the trans. here is a pic I hope it helps & good luck..

Wonder where the full sized version is ?

The spring is under tension you need to release it before you start to work on it.

Ok class lets open our Honda service manuals to page 9-26 where it shows and tells us how to service our driven clutches :-)

I bought a 90D driven (same as driven on FL350) to use on my 440 Pilot Engine swap mod.

What should I bolt size should I tap it to?

Tryed to take off once and it wouldn't move
I put some pb penetrator on the the shaft before I gave up

What holds in the slippers? Glue? Or press?
How long are the slippers supposed to last?

what did u tap the hole to?
i just tapped it to 5/16-18 and it just stripped out under high stress
the dam thing wont budge

any other sejustions?

Someone probably assembled it years ago dry and its rusted together so you have a 7/8" shaft 6" long?? bonded together plus the key.

I had one on a FL250 gear box that I let soak about a year with PB Blaster eventually I took the clutch apart so I could put a rubber hose over the shaft put in a bunch of PB Blaster then pressurize it with air to force the PB Blaster all the way through to the other side and around the key even then it was a bitch to pull .

You need to pull the whole clutch off the trans or just service the helix and spring?

i don't have a year to wait

did you see the pic above?
the slippers ground into the face of the driven
and im trying to pull it to see if its not scrap metal
so the last thing i want to do is destroy it

if its bad whats a good replacement?
used stock or an comet replacement? if so what do the comet driven cost new?

finally got the driven off
took 3 hours and lots of pb pentrator to get it off

lots of rust on the shaft

finally backed up the pully with some washers brazed to some nuts helped alot

found out its destroyed

what should i get for an replacement?

used stock one?

or spend some more money to get a new comet driven?
thinking abought going with this one

I would go with all new save the old one for parts.

Pretty sure you can change the slippers (plastic parts) without having to remove or disassemble the clutch just remove the belt and rotate the back face a little to provide room to work, remove the old install the new, if the old is broke off in the hole heat up something metal stick it in the plastic let it cool them pull out the broken part, its been a while since I have changed them so don't remember. viewtopic.php?f=28&t=3007

The 90D is suppose to be a direct replacement for the stock 350 driven so the belt should work.

Call the seller and ask they were calling it a 90D when I bought mine since then comet closed their doors and was bought out by another company so they may have renamed the product.
