Here is the build vid

Some test rides

I do have the skid pan that protects the trans. Seal is leaking in trans a bit so I never put it on. $1500 as it is now. I will fix the seal but it will not be until next week.

POR15 paint
CDI (Capacitor Discharge Ignition) conversion
New carb
New wire harness
Newer plastics
New decals
New tires
Rack
New cabels
New brakes
New belt
New seat covers
New head light
Added tail light from 83 fl250.

Do not know the history of the Engine. It was tight with no end play. Has 148lbs compression and starts right up. Piston and walls look nice and shinny.

Also have other restored fl250's. Will trade both or all three for FL350 or FL350 project.

I find them on CL. I look for all the baskets cases or non running ones I can find.

My plan is to sell or trade all my Stock looking ones. And keep my Challenger style ones. The money from this car will pay for the restore on the blue class II racer in the last pic. I got some crazy racing parts I been collecting for it. It's gonna be my best work yet. Then it is time to get an FL350 and start it all over. I am just warehouse worker so only been able to buy projects and fix them up. I never have the spare funds to buy the FL350 projects that come up. I am also into ATC's,80's enduros and Gokarts/vintage mini bikes. Sale very little stuff but always trading.

I would trade them all for a nice fl350 or Pilot or trade 3 of them for a nice fl350 needing some work. Keeping my yellow car though. It's going to be a blast for it's so small and 360cc cammex Engine. I figure the 2 stock looking ones are worth $1500 each and the sled one is another $1500. All are restored within the last year. One weekend only on the two. And the yellow one is fresh. that's $4500 in Ody's for an fl350 needing some work. A person could have better luck selling three restored FL250's than a FL350 project for the same cash. Or make more money anyway for an fl350 project. Project would have to be a nicer project though. Not a basket case. LOL

My wife tells me to sale the three FL250's $1000 each for fast sale and buy one of the fl350's a see come up for about $3000. That would give me a FL350 and these three cars.

Some other pics of the other ody's on the trade or sale block.

I feel the sled powered Ody is very well done. I spent hours and hours looking at pic, vids and reading threads trying to do it right and look good. While getting the Engine as low as I could without making the frame longer. It has a yamaha enticer 340 and I used all the parts from sled doner. I got the clutching matched good. It shifts good and is not an over powereded hi reving maching. I think like 30hp if I remember right.

All the Ody's still look new like in the pics. Only thing different is some of the old hardware I reused is rusty. Like some of the bolts.

Here is a vid of the sled ody in action. Just a CP camera but you can see it runs and shifts well.

What a nice collection. I really like the 3 your going to keep. Millettes ride would fit your collection well that thing is sweet! I've got my feelers out on Craigslist trying to snag a deal on an old 250 or preferably 350 racer to restore. Not sure if could fit into the 250's. I'm a big guy but Im pretty flexible. I'll have to see one and maybe try in person. I am also on a limited budget so I know how that go's. I started with my addiction with this 350 and there is definately more to come out of my garage. This was my first major project and I've learned a lot and really enjoy doing it. Redskin man is right tho. I havn't even finished my 350 and I'm already dreaming of a pilot. That's alright with me though, I won't mind having both.. :-) the more the better right?!?! Anyway sweet rides. Can't wait to see the racer coming along.

$1400 is rock bottom with the seal leaking. $1500 if I fix it. For what it is I feel it's a fair deal. Rode it today for about 2 hours with zero problems. The fuel pump I rebuilt did not work. So we put a old one on and it worked. So the pump in the vid is replaced with a not so shinny one you can say. Couple of the tires leak out after a few days. Always starts up on first pull. Even when cold. I have skid pan for under tranny just did not put it on yet. Missing the little screws that hold the wheel cover on so it just on with tape. Some slight cracks in wheel cover as well. scratched the air cleaner building that rack. Besides that everything should be in the vid.

About shipping I have no clue. After watching that show shipping wars I would look into U-ship. I guess they bid on shipping.

Here is my wife driving it. She is like 5'2 95lbs and has no problems. Never mind me yelling at my stupid dog. They like to ride in the foot tub.

Hey Big Head, how far are you willing to travel for your project Ody?

Is Carson City Nevada too far for you?
