I had the Engine sent to TRIPLE EEE (when they were still in business) for a complete rebuild. The installed a new Rand water cooled head as well as everything new from bottom to top.
I installed the DG Full exhaust on this ride. Also this had the old stlye clutch cover on the 102 Comet-

I installed a electric water pump and Banshee rad on the Ody. Hare had a huge older stlye rad on this ody which I did not like.

Hare had a dual shock kit on the rear of this thing, but it had seen better das and I omitted it in my rebuild. I had to install a new tub, and 4 fenders on it as they were beat up!

Parts used in this build. Also did you notice the MOSSBERGER intake on the last set of pictures?

You said this came with a dual shock kit in the rear? Never heard of this. What's the advantage of having 2 shocks vs. 1?

here is one that is set up with dual rear shocks, makes me wonder if there was a kit out back in the day because the rear uprights look identical to muds..

Hey thanks, that looks like a pretty sweet 350. Is that a Leckich topend? 500cc hmmm! Looks like a nice buy. Would there be an advantage to dual shocks? I figure one good shock could do the same purpose with less weight. Guess it could prevent fade but so would a reservoir. First I've heard of this. Just wondering why.

There was a company that made the dual rear kits for the 350's but I cannot remember them sorry fellas. I found it to be not well designed as it really bound the the rear axle joints on full droop and I went through several joints before removing the dual shocks all together.
That ody was 1 of my best running ody's to date, the PJ carb was such a good carb to jet---bring back some memories. I sold this ody to a guy who used to on the board named John, I should call him and see if he still has it.
