It was like Christmas here at the hoser compound :-) got a box UPS from Speedchaser inside was a brand new Pilot front bumper that Speedchaser fabricates.

Also in the box was these little jewels that Speedchaser also makes :-)

I thought I would never find time to paint the bumper and install on my Pilot, painted it red using Rustolem sunshine red.

Here are some pictures of my old hoser bumper lots of miles and abuse on this one

Pics of the painted Speedchaser Pilot bumper installed, fits the frame and mounts perfectly naturally my hoser skid plate was in the way so I took a 4" grinder and made some slots to clear the Speedchaser Pilot front bumper without having to modify his design.

More info on my skid plate here http://pilotodyssey.com/PO/viewtopic.php?t=743

The bumper is designed to be used with the stock plastic skid I had to do some searching to find my original but I did find it, well used and abused

Never cared for the plastic skid from day one and one of the first mods I did was replace it with one made from aluminum.

Searched around the shop for another chunk of aluminum to make a new skid I have none I really really need to order another 4x10 sheet of aluminum and fabricate more hoser hoods and hoser skids.

I washed up my old beat up aluminum skid I made for my stock bumper it has a lot of history and memories scared into that skid it will work perfectly for now.

I really hated to cover up the big Speedchaser tube with my skid but I am not ready to give up that old race sticker just yet, when I find some aluminum I will fab a new one and put this one back on my old stock bumper..

Bumper fits great and is nice and solid, quality of work is top notch better than OEM quality fit and finish a big THANKS Speedchaser! for another quality product.

More info on these bumpers here viewtopic.php?f=4&t=9392

You might want to send speedchaser a pm (private message) to see if he still makes and sells these bumpers. Just click on the members tab above and go to his name. There is a button there that says pm. He makes quite a bit of stuff.
Also if you are ever looking for info on stuff go to the search box above. Use only one word at a time. For example: "transmission" hit enter then type in the search these box "gear". That's the best way of finding what you are after.
