He can ask 1000 each for them they are his parts, I remember not long ago you could have bought a 350 axle for 209.00 shipped to your door everybody should have bought a pair they didnt, Honda don't make them any more so they are "rare" and your going to pay through the ass.

Personally I would just buy another 350 for parts before I would spend more than 500 bux on a PAIR of axles OR I would part out my 350 buy a Pilot.

I also remember about 10 years ago when a guy on the east coast was selling brand new FL350 long block engines, everything was brand new didnt come with ignition or starter 800 bux shipped, they were left overs from Hondas 350 Engine recall.

This is why I have a "parts Ody" in the garage that I just acquired! I am going to strip it down and start refurbishing all of the parts on it.

I may restore it or just have a full Ody's worth of refurbished parts! I haven't made up my mind what I want to do with it yet!

Lets face it if you want new oem and its discontinued its gonna cost ya.

For my pilot I have a new oem final shaft and I could only buy one new oem axle. I guess it was the last one, as I ordered 2. I waited to long to order.

I simply can not locate a new oem axle for sale. I know of a couple new oem still around but they are simply not for sale.

My deffinition of oem is still sealed in the honda package.

The best I could do was buy the inner axle hub with all the guts from Honda. This way when i do use the new final I will be running new splines on bothe sides. I do not want to mix old rusty spline with the new final.

If I want new outer joint guts it looks like my only option is what rockford is selling.

I plan on keeping and riding my piolts until I die.

If I had a fl350 and I wanted NOS axles I do not feel 500 each is unreasonable. The key words are "if I wanted NOS"

I'd sure pay $500 for a new oem fl400 axle in a heartbeat.
