As some of you are aware, I'll be getting laid off from Prudential on September 8, so I'm looking to get as much riding in from then until I find a new position so here is my proposal...

How about:

Silver Lake September 18-22 (Sunday to Thursday)

Maryland (ECJ) October 16-18

Hatfield-McCoy sometime in November

PA we can do almost anytime as one or two-day trips

I am cool with the Silver Lake trip the week Sept 19th... I have to work Sunday Sept 18th but should be free to leave first thing Monday morning (maybe Sunday night)... I'll offer up my place as Pilot Central for those traveling from the East..... I am right along the way and about 11 hrs drive from NJ. SL is 3 hrs from my place so getting there first thing Monday morning after the weekend crowds have left is ideal.....

Date for the ECJ looks good on my calendar now but that could all change with the job situation.'

A change of scenery at H-M sounds good too but I think it has to be coordinated to let us in with the Pilots, I thought I remember something like that?

Hare, I would love to find out about HM. I have heard great thing from you and the others at ECJ. I'm pretty flexable for the time.

I would love to meet up with some of you guys during the SL trip. I could come out for 1-2 days. My business is really busy right now, but I could get away for a while.

I live 15 min. from the dunes, so if anyone needs to drop a trailer or anything, my place is open.

Good to know - Thanks for the offer. We'll keep the group posted as to our progress on pulling this ride together. So far Me, Hare and PilotMan have expressed interest in doing SL in September, but no definitive dates have been determined.

I'd be in if you wanted to split one of those motorhomes :) but I'm not driving that far in my truck.

HM in Nov may be do-able.

SL in Sept might be kind of hard for me, its coming so quick. the week of the 19th would be possible but i would need to work Monday and part of tuesday then do Tuesday - Sunday and ride Wed, Thrus, Friday and maybe saturday or be social. My pilot really needs a good going over before such a long drive.

I have the RV ready to go, if you guys want to share, maybe have a convienent central PA meet spot? 3 or 4 would be the max people and pilots

doh that would screw me for Unadilla on the 24th and 25th, hmm, grrrr wonder if we could work that in on the way back

man it sucks to have a job

Hare,

I'd be in for splitting the cost of transport, let me know what you are thinking.

We are going to be at HM Sept. 2-12. Was there last year and the trails at bear wallow seemed pilot freindly, although there are some tight turn switch backs. Not sure if I will bring pilot, gonna see if I can sneak rhino in. From Devil Anse Campgrounds you can access the trail without going by the ranger station, a little naughty but i fiqured I'd play dumb if i got questioned. ("I didnt realize 54" was to wide Mister Ranger") I'd be up for a Paragon or coal trail ride anytime.
