I bought a set of them a few months ago for $129.00 or $149.00. Very nice looking product, althought I havent installed them. You maybe able to get them direct from Galfer cheaper than that Ebay price. The ones I got were a full front and rear set including all the banjoe bolts. It replaces all the rubber hoses. They may or may not have any advantage over stock, but they will look nice once I install them!
Personally I don't like braided lines they make braking harder because they make the brakes lock up easier, that condition would be ok for me on the rear since I do 95% of my stopping with the front brakes, I like the brakes that you have to squeeze hard as you can before they will lock up and anything less they just slow really you down really really well.
Years ago I bought all the parts and pieces I needed to install braided lines on my Pilot but never installed when the day comes my stock lines fail I will have a replacement
If you buy a new automobile you pay 2000.00 to 3000.00 more for the anti lock braking system (you have no choice its not a option) this keeps the brakes from locking up so you can stop FASTER than if the brakes are locked.
Controlled braking on a Pilot in a panic or emergency situation is tricky because of the location of the controls, straight line planned hard braking is a breeze unexpected braking in a turn is tricky have seen more than one guy go off trail because he could not control his brakes in a turn and skidded straight off the trail.
150 bux front and back sounds like a good price think all my pieces and parts added up to over 100 bux.
