Someone told me a while back the front brake shoes for the Pilot (also fit FL350)
were discontinued, they are NOT you can still get them from Hillside, the "kit"
is 17.93 and enough to do one side of your Pilot, you will need 2 kits for a total
of 35.86 if your going to do both sides, going from memory the "kit" gives you
2 shoes and 2 NEW springs...

I was looking parts last week on the Service Honda Site and it listed
4 different parts I was needing as "discontinued"

I called Hillside on Tuesday and ordered the parts including the parts that were supposibly
"discontinued" each of them had actually just been super-ceeded.

Hillside said I should have all of them in a week or so...

:-)

When I talked to Trevor on the phone he said he had all kinds of the "kits" in stock,
the discontinued thing is if you try to buy them piece by piece....

I also got some pieces that were"discontinued" from Partfish.com and if you can believe this, my local Honda dealer got me some as well, brake springs for a 350 to be exact.

Ya...service honda said valves for a Z50 were superceded. They were superceded by XR valves that don't work. It makes absolutely no sense to me.

But that's good that hillside carrys those shoes. Do they have a website by chance?

Use these part numbers:

06450-VM0-405 for the front shoes (one side only) http://www.partzilla.com/parts/detail/honda/HP-06450-VM0-405.html
43120-HE0-316 for the rear pad set
43455-HE0-003 for the cable appears to be a good number for the cable

They are available!

ALSO found this today-wanted to order shift lever for my 350-SERVICE page says discontinued-part # 54210-HEO-OOO but if you go on the Pilot page, it is readily available from them, just wanted to let the 350 guys here know as well that sometimes if they say it is not available, it may still be-
