Hello all,

I am selling both of my Honda Pilots. They are two of the cleanest that I have ever seen.

Here is a link to the eBay ad for one. Like I said I have 2 for sale.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/161227385516?ss ... 1555.l2649

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks for looking!

why weren't both front tires replaced so they match? was the rear bumper bent and then bent back? Is that why it has all the rust in the corners on the bumper?

Two tires cost twice as much as one tire silly.

Zoom in on the suspension arm pictures looks like parts of the arms were touched up with the old spray can Earl Scheib style, bottoms of the arms that see the most wear are like new yet move up 1/2" and they are rusty and beat up looking next to the rusted up shocks, another 15 min pimp it up for evilbay Pilot?

Yes I bought these machines in 2003 and the Honda dealer did the touch up. I never messed with it after that, actually same for the front tire. They do not make that Ohtsu anymore and this was the same size so I am guessing that is why it is on there (or it was cheaper). All I have done is air filters, carb cleaning, general oil and maintenance.

I ride it mostly in my neighbors pasture so nothing to harsh on the suspension to scratch it up.

Again, this machine is very clean. Like I said I have yet to see a cleaner one in person or for sale for that matter. I am sure who ever sees it will not be disappointed.

Jeesh guys. Looks like a pretty nice pilot to me. Good luck with your sale.

By the way who is this Earle Scheib guy? My dad's always talking about Earl Scheib paint jobs.

Earl Schieb had a line of automotive painting places back in the 70's where you could get the shittyest paint job in the world for a ridiculously low price.

His famous line was....."I'll paint any car for only $29.95!"

His replacement is now....Uh Oh, better get Maaco!

Lol!!! :-)

I paid a local body shop $400 to have the front bumper painted on my pickup. They did a great job color matching though. It was worth it in the end. I could only imagine a $30 paint job. Couldn't do a car with rustoleum for that.

Earl Scheib LMAO My Dad worked for the chemical co. that manufactured their paint. It was the crappiest paint ever made. It was specially formulated just for them. My father wouldn't even use it on my tricycle.

Why is every pilot low hours, when clearly the wear shows differently. People would be more comfortable buying something when it is accurately described. Yes, it looks ok, but just about every pic I saw there was rust on a part, definite wear on yoke below the grips, bumpers look beat up. I guess immaculate to me means something more like one of Mudbogger's pilots. I'm not the type to go around belittling someones else post. But I've driven a long ways before due to descriptions that were not accurate. Pictures hide alot and if it's noticiable in them it's usually worse in person. I'd be interested in the compression in this immaculate low hour machine.

Yeah everybody has their own vision of "cleanest examples in the country" they also have their own vision of disappointment I guess that's why so many nit pick everybody's pictures like a group of old ladies sizing up a new bride, its all good, many here have a really good attention to detail and a great eye, it makes others aware of things they might have missed and hopefully reduces the chances of being disappointment when they buy then it arrives .

I agree gentleman, often that is the case. That is the last thing I want to happen, I am very confident that whoever buys it will be happy and will have not wasted the trip. Check out my ebay feedback when I sold my brothers Pilot on Ebay 2 weeks ago. I own 2 and my brother owns 1. I sold his first, now I am selling my two. Sold his for $6350 the guy drove all the way from West Texas and was elated.

Thanks again for the feedback.

$4850 sounds like a strong figure IMO with no compression #s & lack of title. Any details on your other ride?

I do not know of very many Pilots with titles because of age but if someone wants one they can apply for it in their state. If you want compression numbers I can get them. Both of my Pilots run 60 plus with no issues. I sold my brothers 3 weeks ago for $6350. I am asking $6300 obo for each of mine. Make me an offer if you are serious or come see them for yourself! No disappointments here!!

If you can post compression numbers that would be great. I might fly to tx for a collector car but won't for a pilot. IMO when you take it to a national level of potential buyers you should have all details in order. Did your brothers pilot have a title b/c any way you slice it you're $1550 off his benchmark. You also run k&n filter so that makes compression that much more relevant to an informed buyer.

His did not have a title either, went to a buyer in west Texas. No issues ever with the K&N for me. I am aware of others but again I have not had an issue ever. Thanks

I have titles for both of my '89's... all I had to do was ask for them from the PO... costs about 80 bucks and 30 minutes at Sec of state in Michigan...

Must be nice...... In IL you have to go through the process to get a bonded title. Get it appraised and put down a bond of 1 1/2 the appraised value. If it has not been reported stolen and nobody claims it for a period of 3 years you get a clean title. If it's been reported stolen or someone else has the original paperwork I'm not sure what happens. Won't be good that's for sure.

This.. Probably even a bit more difficult in the Socialist State of MD.
