After seeing various iterations of the 2 tube intake modification for the Pilot and then seeing another using one 3 inch, I came up with this. It uses a true 4 inch hose and connections all the way through. I made mine using an intake plenum that mounts into the original location. I will at some point make a prefilter setup. I do plan on running some sort of outerwears on it to deflect water and small woodland animals. It is comprised of a new custom airbox lid, 4" "venting" hose, a couple of drainage style PVC pipe fittings and a plastic airbox (plenum) from a boat store. I wouldn't of believed the performance enhancement myself if I didn't have the grin still showing. What do you think. If you consider doing anything like this make sure you have bigger main jets ready to go.
