I finally decided to sell some bolt-on a-arm kits for the FL350. I started up a website.
For some reason, I can't put a video of the kit in action on my website. I will be in touch with the host provider for help with this. If you respond to the email address on the contact page, I will send you a video. Thank, Rob

How about larger more detail pictures of your whole setup?

Can you send me the video? pilot400@mchsi.com

How much wider than stock?

Ever weigh all the old parts then weigh the new parts to see how much weight was added?

Ever try installing the stock plastic?

Keep us informed on the webpage updates please. Is there a future Paypal link for purchases online?
Also, any test results or blogs from owners by chance?I like the idea of this kit-it brings new options into the 350 Odyssey owners which is nice.Plus the price with shocks is great, and I also like you list the parts you use and are up front in the description of the used itmes included, great way to save the consumer a bucks but provide a nice reliable product.Keep up the good work, and the racks you have listed I personally would like to see in the future.

It is 62" wide with the LTZ400 stock length arms. I haven't weighed the new parts compared to stock J arms. The stock J arms and drums are very heavy, compared to the new kit which is tubing. I hope to have a video up on mywebsite as soon as possible. Keep checking for updates. Thanks, Rob

Thanks OK one question I'm not full miller with Honda A arms but is there a narrower a arm out there that will fit ?
and yes I know it will give less travel .Trying to keep it no wider then the rear end.

P.S. your tack weld kit how good is the tack weld ? is it tig or mig

Thanks Keep Up the Good work

Speedchaser, I am not sure what you are asking here about the tack welded kit. Tack welding means that the pieces are welded together with a small spot weld just for the purpose of holding them together during mock-up. I will tack weld them together so that you don't have to figure their location out. A tack welded kit means that you have to weld it completly. This just saves people money, if they have their own welder, and want to do it themselves. All of the hard work in design is done for you. I hope this helps.

I know what mig welding is. It is mig welded. Speedchaser was asking if the tack welded kit was mig or tig in his earlier post. That's why I said I wasn't sure about his question. If it is tack welded, then who cares if it is mig or tig.
You can weld it with what ever you want. I will try to post some close up pics of the welds later.

I ask is Because if it is tack with a mig welder it will have to welded with a mig welder and not tig .
Why you ask because mig weld with gas still puts porosity in the weld
Porosity in welding is a result of dissolved gases or gases released during the welding process
A tig welder burns a lot hotter in the area of the tig cup or nozzel So any porosity in the weld it will spread threw the weld. That is why I Asked !

P.S. still wondering if you can put shorter A-Arms on this setup ???
What going to be the turn around Time for a tacked up setup ???
And Thanks For answering my questions

Thank You for your Time

SpeedChaser :-)

Speedchaser, Now I understand your question. As far as shorter arms go, I don't know who makes shorter ones. It can definately be set up with shorter arms. The rear of the odyssey in the pics is 61" wide, and the front is 62" wide. Yours maybe narrower in the rear than 61", depending on wheel offset. You may want to go to your local Honda dealer and compare the 400EX arms to the TRX450 arms, to see if the 400's are shorter. If they are shorter, than I can set it up for a 400EX. A tack welded kit would take about a week, due to the fact that I am working on someone elses set up now.

I live in San Diego. The area in the video is a place called Jacumba. It is about 45 mins. east of downtown San Diego. I grew up riding all over this area since I was a kid.

Wow, I thought that looked like a familiar area, but couldn't quite place it. I'm in Escondido, have several co-workers that live in Jacumba, Jamul, Pine Valley, Campo and Alpine. I have 4-wheeled there, but never ridden anything smaller.

Nice kit, better than the others I've seen and we have 2 350's dying for them, just no funds for them.

Maybe next year.

I am interested in a fl250 rear suspension. I saw it as a coming soon. do you have any designs yet or going to copy a old 80's design? if you have a plan do you have any idea of pricing yet?

I like the grey color. It looks military with some blue accents. Good location for the lights. I don't like them mounted in the stock placement. They light up the white foot tube causing strain on my eyes. Good job!
