It depends on what one you want, you can get an idea on pricing here http://en-us.can-amside-by-side.brp.com ... eries.aspx like all other Can Am products not cheap.

I would like to see one up close so I can see if they detailed them cheap like a Polaris or if they are quality like were use to seeing in the Honda, after seeing all the corners Polaris cut I imagine they are making a nice fat profit off of them.

Circle the part you're referring to.

Red arrows, should be lapped the other way.

Green arrows, sooner or later your going to snag them open raised corners.

Whole skid setup is poor

I would think that this unit is made better than the Polaris RZR. I have never been really that Impressed with there quality. I had been considering the RZR s since it came out however I am glad that I did not buy now that i see the Commander line. I would venture to say that by this time next year I will have the X model in my Toy Boxl. Any body want to buy a Turbo charged Subaru powered Woodsbuggy lol.

Yes Polaris has never impressed me with anything they make, they are about 2 steps above the china buggys if you ask me, where other mfg's weld in a threaded insert in the frame and bolt components on Polaris runs in a sheet metal screw, where other mfg's weld in a threaded insert and uses a quality plastic coated metal band and a bolt to hold the wiring harness securly to the frame Polaris uses a low quality wire tie then never cuts off the extra length they just leave the tail hang their to poke someone in the eye haha

I could go on typing for at least an hour about their quality but you probably have seen most what I have seen over the years.

I would like to see a Can Am up close to see what their quality is like.

I wont be selling my RZR anytime soon to buy another brand.

I have registered for the Test ride show on June 26th in WV however 12 hours of driving just to see one is a bit of a streach. I will probaly wait until I see one at a dealer. I dought a dealer will let me demo one.

Yea there would be no way i would buy one like that. Nor will I buy a first year production run. There will be Buggs that need to be resolved first.

You have that right.

That's way too expensive, even if it had a gold plated fuel cap!

Tell me what you think a Pilot would cost if Honda decided to put it on the market today?

I have these Skid plates on mine. The rear fits into the main and is slighty recessed above the main. They are nice skids. Very expensive however! I was going to buy the UHMW skids however I needed skids for this past weekend before the Maiden Voyage. The Dealer had these in stock. They definatly did their job in Wellsville.
