Just wanted to help spread the good word about another smooth transaction I had with Rocky Mountain http://rockymountainatv.com ATV

I placed an online order with Rocky Mountain http://rockymountainatv.com ATV on 10/21 and it was at my door step on 10/26
I ordered the FMF Turbine Core II Q Silencer for a 2000 CR500
It was only $116.99 with FREE shipping

I'm planning on switching out the noisey custom dual exhaust on the FL670 with a stock pipe and this much quieter US Forest approved silencer...

I sure wish all vendors were this professional...

Going with a single pipe, what is the stinger diameter I would not reduce the
stinger (tube that exits the end of the pipe) diameter on your pipe to fit the silencer...
reduce it to much and the pipe and Engine temps will go way up = poofkaboom

Great price on the silencer I think that is the best I have seen yet.
RM has always been good to deal with.

Good Point - poofkaboom is BAD...

Yea I purchased a stock Y-pipe and stock single pipe
I haven't recieved them yet so I don't know what the pipe's exit diameter is.

The FMF Silencer has a 1.25" inside diamater for the stinger...
Hopefully they will work well together...

Ok cool, I hope the stock pipe fits as well as mine ended up fitting, I had to reduce my
stinger diameter to fit the Pilot silencer by about .050 so far it don't seem to be a problem
but I am not running the normal RPM and my jetting is still rich..

Good Question - I won't have access to the pipes until this weekend...

I'll take some measurements and get back to you.

Another silly project (1981 TA) has been taking up most of my spare time

I believe the prices have gone up to $143.99 for the CR500 silencer...

http://www.rockymountainatv.com/product ... vType=type

I got one from Hillside for the same price sitting in the garage ready to be modified if anyone is interested.

I already have the modified pipe on one pilot and can easily swapped it to the LT Pilot if I were to take that to SL. I figured we'd meet up for a ride here in Michigan and would just hold on to it till then and give it to you then.

How you making out on the hoser hauler? Any new pictures of the cabinets? You figure out your solution for the the backdoor and ramp yet? I might be needing my ramps back for a new quad to go in the pick up.
I saw some shorter aluminum ramps at Lowes home center over the weekend that might work better for your lower ramp height.

We need to put some dates on the calendar for a ride..
