Looking for a good candidate for replacing the shocks on my ladies 250 Challenger. I'd like to change from dual shocks to single shocks, plus hers are completely blown out and a little too soft.

Any suggestions on where to look? It seems some of you know where to find shocks based on length but I am having trouble.

I used this page to find the lengths. http://www.pilotodyssey.com/challengershocks.htm

16-7/8" extended, 14-3/8 collapsed. I believe it would be better if the collapsed length was actually a little shorter, maybe 14-1/2 or so.

Please let me know if you have any tips on where to look, or maybe a machine that has similar length shocks from factory.

Thanks!

Are you on fb? Honestly there is a better following there of people who collect/modify/upgrade the 250. Their are a couple guys that have quite a few challengers and parts. One guy Andrew McGraw was selling rear suspension kits for them awhile back. You can pm Me and I can give you the specific pages or just do a search for fl250 or the name above. Their is also a guy in Australia who is very knowledgeable on the fl platform.

I'm not on FB but that's okay. I think I'll just rebuild the shocks I have, thanks for the help.
