Bingo! We have a

folks!
I knew you have to circum to the charms of Daisy.
I thought it would be due to just lack of maintanaince, dirt inside, but was more to it.
When I was tightening up the puller bolt,it just slipped down without the aweful bang and clutch dismount that ALWAYS gives me more greys!
Thought I might have stripped the internal threads, lucky not. Then upon closer inspection noticed a lot of brown grease all over the crank seal and taper and the clutch.
So the leaking seal+grease+dirt made the TRA clutch a bit loose, plus all the crap inside affecting the roller arms etc for max travel.
Thanks to that Kevin Oleksiw-aka CS1006 from Dootalk for a suposedly all new recon crank+case. To those that don't know the OEM grease for the crank bearings is mean't to be Isoflex Topas NB52.
It's a pale beige colour, dear, but the only stuff mean't to be used.Std grease DOES NOT.He assured me it was and to OEM specs.Plus new seals?????
The ramps where the rollers run were only showing the shiney marks for 1/2 the length, proving the shift out was not happening beyond that point.
Lots of very fine aussie Bulldust, compacted by the centrifugal forces packed in all nooks and cranys hindering the full performance/functions of internal parts!

Now need to buy Isoflex+NEW seals and do it myself.
I can't believe tho that with all this crap/probs of the TRA clutch, that it did so well at Bullsbrook Meet?
Hoosier, don't dare get rid of the preview function!!! I would be lost without it!
