I regret to inform that I am selling my pilot. I have a baby on the way and I've been wanting to get a RZR for a while now. Figure I'm not going to have a whole lot of time riding it and I plan to sell the Pilot and save up over time to get a rzr. Before I list my pilot on craigslist or evilbay, I'd like to sell it someone here on forum that cares about these machines.

1990 Pilot is basically stock except for:

Dual air intake
Digitron Gauge (Brand New)
Works shocks in the front
Red radiator hoses from afastcar

I rebuilt the lower end recently (December 2010) and below is a list of what was replaced:
OEM Crank Bearings
Oem Water Pump Bearing
All New Oil Seals/Crank Seals OEM
New Mechanical Water Pump Seal OEM
Crank rebuilt with Versah Crank Rod

Top end was rebuilt last year with a Wiseco Piston on 81.50 Bore.. Compression is at 145psi.

I posted a lot of stuff in the Tech part of the forum. Type in my author name: cruz_01 in the search page and you'll see everything I posted.

Being the owner of the Pilot for three years, I never seized the Engine. I decided to rebuild the low end recently because I was getting an air leak on the clutch side crank seal and I heard a weird winding sound come from the Engine. Also, I thought it was about time the Engine be overhauled considering the person I bought it from didn't know anything about pilots or two strokes....

This is only pic I have of right now.. I'll post more pics when I get a chance. If anyone's interested, pm me... Also, I have a clear title for it...

I feel like an idiot for posting something that I changed my mind about not selling. I don't know what I was thinking....

Yeah, having kids will do that. In my case though my wife usually says, "You're going to regret it if you sell it, you should keep it."

And then I float back down to earth and carry on with life and my toys. My little boy just turned 2, he is a proud new owner of a PW50. Just more toys to add to the collection.
