Not fare, that's like one lays potato chip. You have a new camaro to match. Maybe retitle the thread "250 transformation".

you going with meyer plastic? Did you paint of polish the fiberglass? Do you have the king pins and bushings? They are getting hard to find. What about the king pin dust seals? I see you have the J arms on did you drill and tap for a grease fitting? Looking good - need more pictures please. Makes me want to cleanup my 77 fl250.

Yes, I went with Maier fenders...I had a restoration shop match the finish so I could paint the floor and skid plate.
I have been lucky and have found all NOS parts for the suspension including; j-arm bushings, o-rings, pin springs & wires, end caps, king pins, king pin bolts, dust seals, bushings, and holders.
I could not find NOS shocks so I went with "Works Shocks" 10.75" set up for my weight. Soooo, I had to "Dremel" the
stopper bracket down so I can install them in the future.

Thanks. It's coming along, just slowly. I am looking for EEE side bars for a '77-'80 model.
This is more less for my seven year old son and he likes to push limits, so I know side bars will help with that.

Thanks for throwing a dog a few bones. I do have one complaint. The srew slots in the fender mud flap screws are not all running the same direction I would opt for vertical, me being a electrician I like to see all trim screws in a vertical position. Plus with a quick glance I can tell if some one messed with my work. Just kidding around, so far it's the best looking 250 reto I have seen. I really like the works shock and the HONDA mud flaps. Can not wait to see steering wheel pic with it installed. Keep up the very nice work.

Thanks for the kind words. I actually took that image to send to my dad because the fender mold differed from the nos mudflap making it difficult to install without making a slight tweak in the plastic. The other side is more flush so I guess its a Maier thing.
I'm going to keep working on it. Steering wheel is almost bolted on...I have to wait on the special steering column washer that I need though.

Installed the bearing case and drum shield to check hardware lengths...everything looked to fasten well but the length of the bolts to the case will need to be shortened.

Figure I would ask here for used ones before buying new ones off ebay...

Thanks hotrodd. I found both earlier for a good price.
That is one of my favorite website for small parts.

Wish the new girl working for Randy at "OS" could do something similar.

Thanks Hoser. This one got Duro. I did locate a "big" find on NOS OHTSU combo tires/hubs like the ones found on the US90's. I have been trying to by this Scrambler 6x6 not to far from where I live now for about two years... Guy would rather it ruin in the elements than sell it though. Anyways, the magic number is six and that's how many brand new OHTSU's the guy has in storage. He also has a "Mud Bug" trike that I want as well.
His collection is prob worth as much as the home he lives in.
