Nick, I use rubber freeze plugs from you local auto parts store and pressurize the crankcase through the pulse line for the fuel pump pulse line.

Rand,

Was that a pretty simple way to do it?

Thanks Nick for the info :-)

I took the intake boot and the exhaust manifold to the auto parts store to get the sizes.

Pretty easy, the only thing you need to do is figure out a way to pressurize the Engine.

I used an air fitting that I hooked up to my compressor then a valve and pressure gauge to a nipple attached to the pulse hose.

Ok great, I do have a compressor, so I should be able to do it :-) I will dig up a gauge, etc.

Make sure you use a low amount of air when filling it up or you will pop your plugs off or blow a seal

Thank Rusty, I forgot to mention not to over pressurize the Engine.

10 psi MAX!

**** Only fill your air compressor up to 10 psi***** so you don't have to worry about blowing any seals out....... toby

Yes, agreed, air compressor at 10psi to be safe. I have a dial that I can adjust my line pressure on my big compressor, so I dial it down. Too much pressure will mean blown gaskets.

I just picked up a 0-30 psi gage and a bulb-pump like that for like $12 total on eBay a week or so ago. My original leak tester with a small bicycle pump has worked great, but its gage is falling apart. Time for a new one. It looks exactly like the one above, except I have some nylon quick connects and nylon tubing.
