"I will give the buyer a week to look them over and send it back it they aren't happy. If you have any questions just ask. I have described it as best I can and will answer any questions you may have. "

Pretty sure the seller is Bill Keefe use to be a member here if it is I can vouch for him you don't get much more honest than Bill.

Have never heard anything bad about G Force racing that did the porting fact is I have two ATC cylinders in my shop that were ported by this guy not sure how they run but the work looks top notch, Bill swears by the guy.

Didn't notice the 4th. I like the idea of the coolant going from cylinder to head through hoses. Didnt even think of that. Simple. Would be very easy to seal up, leaks would be obvious. I like it.

Kinda' wish they'd welded on bungs for fittings (or added bosses to be later drill/tapped) instead of welding the fittings directly to the cylinder.

5+ days left and already over $300! Figure a water-cooled head is a $250 option, and just a stock 80.5mm cyl with piston/rings is easily $250+...this one will likely break the $500 marker!!

that's how I plan on doing that cylinder I am working on just weld on a threaded bung let the owner choose the fittings of their choice, what do you think of the location of bungs on the cylinder I was thinking the same locations?

Where they are located on this setup is just about the only way you can do it. You're kind of limited where you can put the lower cylinder fittings. If you put the front fitting on the left (exhaust) side, there is a problem with the belt guard and the exhaust pipe. The rear (intake) fitting really only has one side you can put is on without interfering with the belt and the exhaust.

Yes but I will be fabricating my own fittings not buying them :-) Some place in my shop I have some 1/2" couplings that are made out of aluminum was going to cut them in 1/2 if I cant find will make some out of billet round stock I have.

I really like this setup. Is it a hillside Honda head? Does anyone else notice the top(on cylinder) exhaust hole appears to be welded shut?

$360 + $30 s/h at 18 bids.

If anything, it's nice to see these parts still raking in some decent 'flow.

Got it. :)

And I expected it to go higher and figured my $360 bid wouldn't stick. I had it padded another $10, too. Good deal, for sure!! Best part us that I had that much in my paypal acct from some Suzuki parts I sold off.

Sent Mr. Keefe a request to NOT ship USPS, and that I'd pay a couple $'s more to get it here unscathed. Had a tragedy with a cherry quadzilla jug this year, when the seller out if AZ half ass packed it and broke a skirt.

These Honda water cooled setups are few and far between. Couldn't pass it up. Stoked!!!

Well you can thank me for not making you pay more for it! :-)

I was going to bid it again to a max of $400 but figured it would go for a lot more so I didn't bother!

The wife would have shot me though!

Congrats!

Nice buy indeed! Is this for a current ride or for one of your projects?

No, I reeeeally wanted this water-cooled set, and here is the truth: I was bids #17, #18, and #19. LOL The winning $360 bid was #17, then I padded it to something like $402.55 with #18. And just in case, I had my phone's Droid-auction-sniper-app throw down a $452.66 bid with 3-seconds to go for bid #19. Didn't want to spend $450, but figured it'd put the nail in the coffin with 3-sec to go. Or else it'd cost someone else $50! ha If I wouldn't have had some cash stashed in the Paypal account, I would've been a spectator on this one.

I'd like to put this setup on my current buggy (#1). Build the Engine on the bench, and drop it in. Really, I wanted to complete the collection of FL350R top ends. Got a Bishop head on the current ride, got a Rands head on the shelf for buggy #2, and figured a jacketed sleeve and Hillside head would round it out well. I've got two radiators in the waiting, plus a Honda Civic racing rad/fan for the Rotax buggy.

Should have my new playground setup before New Years, so I can finally get to work and quit hoarding stuff. I've been waiting to set much up of any equipment and parts until I got the security system setup. My place is now secure and I've got "Mossberger" and "Springfield Armory" systems as backups. ;) The only thieves on my property will be on camera & incarcerated...or else full of holes!

Congratulations on the buy, get Bills number give him a call he will tell you how to setup that cylinder and probably will have some baseline jetting suggestions, Bill was always good at packing stuff so UPS cant kill it in shipping I assume he is still a good packer :-) Tell him "hoser says hi"
