I am sad to report that I have heard a few complaints on Backwoods who is a member of this site and is selling parts, rather than me giving details I rather the un-happy customers address the problem so you hear the complaints first hand.

I like to allow things like this to work themselves out on their own but feel the need to warn all users their has been a problem since the user used my website to make the sales, hopefully all will be resolved soon.

I urge anybody that has had less than good or pleasant dealings with Backwoods to tell your story accurately so users are not using their imaginations.

Buyer Beware when dealing with the user Backwoods!

Does anyone have an exact location on this guy? Please don't put his whole address or personal info. Just home city so we can avoid his future stuff on eBay.

Couple weeks ago I was surfing the board as a guest. Came across his post for parts for sale. Texted him back and forth a few times, gave him a call and worked out a deal for the right rear fender and tail light of his fl350. I paypal'd him $150 about two weeks ago. He said he shipped the stuff the next day and would send me a tracking number. Haven't received anything yet and he hasn't returned my texts. Sure would like my $150 back. OR...

I suppose I'm somewhat of a dumb@$$ for not doing due diligence on this guy, but you get so used to dealing with really decent people that you think everyone is like that.

Kinda blows a couple weeks before Christmas...This fender was for starving children in an orphanage in Africa. :)

holy crap I was going to buy a transmission from him for $200 and a rear rim for $30 he stopped responding to my emails a few days ago. (have not sent him any money)

id also like to add beware of mr2angry2 I had bought what was listed as a new odyssey axil off him on ebay listed below.

Honda Odyssey 350 axle FL350 axle shaft NOS (271076695877)
Member id mr2angry2

it was $511 plus 19.99 shiping (and I drove through the border to get it so more like $600 with border charges)

I paid a premium for a nos the axil he sent me was used and about a day ago I was hearing some other complaints about him.
just wish I had not given him a good ebay score before opening it (I was going through a list of items).

Well it's funny this came up...
I ordered a rear fender and front wheel and 2 weeks later no goods
But had good communication. At this point I changed my order to just the fender- didn't need the rim anymore. It took another week or more to get it from Penn to IL . He told me he had a death in the family, I told myself ok I'm not a total jag but I had reservations about the sale. The box showed up damaged with no packing which he said there was packing when it left- I told him to pursue the post office for a refund- I would have!! BEWARE!

I'm not trying to be a jerk here Frank. I'd be happy with either the fender or the $150. I'll gladly keep ya'll posted if either shows up.

You also said you'd send me a tracking number. I've asked you for it again about a week and a half ago. How 'bout you post it here. That'd go a long way in clearing your good name.

WE CARE! LMFAO!!!
Did I tell you what UPS did to me. Shipped a pipe a while back. Parked in front of the ups store and took my box inside. Payed for the stuff and as I got in the car I got a call. I answered it and was sitting there and here the brown truck pulls up. The guy walked in the building came out with the box I just took in and a couple others on top of it and threw them on the ground from chest level. Dropped them like a hot rock. I fuckin blew a gasket on the guy. Asked him WTF his problem is and he just looked at me like I was crazy. I told him that's my fuckin pipe you just smashed off the concrete. Grrr! Had to leave before I punched him. Standing there with a stupid look on his face only pissed me off more. I even wrote fragile all over the box with a sharpie. Guess UPS doesn't pay enough to get literate drivers.

its not to late. when i was dealing on my carb that i bought from atvnut, i was way past the 45 day mark, i just contacted paypal, and explained my case to them and they gave me my money back with a week or two. they have to try and get ahold of the seller first. after i got my money back 3 weeks later i recieved the carb in the mail, and it had a shipping date on it that was only a 10 days old. so there i was with the money back and the carb i ordered, so i had to contact paypal again on what i should do, and they said it was up to me they did there part. i was tempted to keep the cash but i am not that guy. there was a big post on this in the minibuggy forum, and i finally got atvnut to call me and after two hours on the phone i gave him his money back for the carb. it was long and drawn out, but paypal will still help you out..

Well the post office strikes again. Received my 490 Engine stuff in the mail today.(thanks Rusty.) He wrote fragile as big as my head on every side of the box. Fragile must mean smash me good in some other language. The box looks like it got thrown out of a 747 on its way by. Not sure how it made it to me. Good thing for barcodes I guess. My name and address is shredded completely off the box. Has a little sticker on it that says "we're sorry that your article was damaged during proccessing" gee thanks. A sticker makes it all better.... GOOD NEWS: opened it up and all appears to be good. Had me sweating when I first saw the box. Just thought I'd share another testemonial on our wonderful postal system.

Now that my refund has cleared, i want to say this guy is a real jackass. Almost got my for $410. I believe he was planning on sending out something to me. Probably just the steering wheel that the other member did not pick up. But i wasn't going to pay $410 for a steering wheel. He sent the refund back, only after screwing me around for a week. he had excuse after excuse and finally told me that i was on his time and i would get a refund when he wanted to send it.

I would not do any business with this idiot unless you are able to give him money in person for the items. seems like he is too shady. He is just a no good punk trying to take advantage of people that are trusting. I would have been out my $410 if i hadnt gotten word from another member that he picked up the parts. If i would have waited to file the complaint i think the money would have been long gone.

Yep, I don't know the guy, but I asked Backwoods numerous times about stuff and he just plain ignored me, and then offered the items I asked about for sale on a completely different thread to someone else after the fact. Act shadey, and you get labeled as shadey! Sorry, but that's how it goes.

baaahaaa...I worked at the UPS hub in Maumee, OH during the mid 1990's as a loader / sorter. We loaded 53' trailers and sorted stuff between KY, IN, and some CA (aka: PD#12 there). One of the sorters was a total d!ck and would have me pitch small parcels to him so he could hit them with this 2x1 stick (for clearing jams). The parcels would either get all kinds of f'd up and/or would land on the roof of the breakroom. And sometimes when jumping down into the belly section of the trailers, if there was a small package there to land on...we'd land on it. The watchdogs couldn't see it.
