I had stopped working on my project fl350 for some time (mgb restoration)
but I have the transmission apart and the "mint" selector gear I got off of ebay is pretty worn out on both sides anyone have a good one or an new old stock?

Scour the honda dealers on line. You might get lucky and find a new one.

It's that distinct gear with the teeth inside and a Vally outside so the selector rod can slide it back and forth.

Yeah that's #11 on the parts list/pic,selector gear,has the outer groove that the shift fork sluts into,and pivots/ moves either L or R,for F-N-R selection.
I have at least a couple here from previous Ody rebuild/ parts,but I'm downunder.If ya get get stuck,I'll help ya out.
I'll dig into the rear blokeshed in the morn,and post some pics of said digs. :-)

thanks for the pictures and sorry I did not read this topic in the last few days.

hmmm looks about the same as the "new" one I got on ebay with moderate wear on both sides
the light makes it hard to see how rounded they are.

:-) ooh is that a final shaft I see in the box
could use one as a spare.

so how much do you want for it?

that's not an stock one its an cv joint setup one
